If you’re on this page you might be familiar with the live stage show mentioned above. But if not, here’s a brief synopsis.

Three years ago my friend Bob Ladewig and I turned a social experiment we did on the online dating website OkCupid into a live stage comedy. It was set to run for three months under the name Undateable at Second City Hollywood.

Our producer (Diane Alexander!) saw it and saw potential for something more.

Next thing we knew Sam Yagan (co-founder of OkCupid) flew in to see the show. Luckily, he had a sense of humor and loved the show.

This allowed us to expand into the bigger two-act version of the show #DateMe: An OkCupid Experiment which is currently on it’s 8th remount at the Up Comedy Club in Chicago where it has been playing to sold out houses for a year and a half.

The show is all about connection and we want to extend that beyond the stage. Here you will find backstage secrets, weekly features with audience members, and other behind the scenes info.

And if you have no idea what I’m talking about, here’s a sneak peak of the show:

  1. My husband and I saw the show last night and loved it! You were all great! I noticed there were a couple different faces onstage compared to the program and I am wondering the name of the brunette woman who (I’m assuming) filled in for Carisa Barreca? Thanks for the laughs!
